I’ve decided to use the Do Follow plugin to remove the rel=nofollow from any comments made on this blog. It has been obvious for a long time that the no follow code didn’t work. It doesn’t stop spam comments but what it does do is discourage people from adding valid comments.
So from now on if you comment you will recieve lots of link love from this blog. Of course if you spam I still reserve the right to open a can of whoopass in your general direction!!

how can you stop pleople from leaving bad comments just to get the link back to their blog, exist any solution to that ?

I use the askimet plugin to stop spam , plus they need to manually add the post. As you can see the post needs to be approved by me.

That´s true but you can administrate that if you receive 100th of post at day like engadget.
