the thing is how does one reply to eBay (for an argument to support reconsideration of a particular website) when they use noreply email addresses in their rejection emails, just wondering!

Irving, For both SEO reasons and getting approved with ebay i would add a lot more content to the site, the adverts should almost be an afterthought. I would do articles about various components and maybe articles about how to fit them etc.

Francesco, ciao!

I think you might be accepted, you can only submit it and then hope/argue with them ;) it might help to remove the ads before you submit it and then add them back afterwards

Hi.

Could you please have a quick look at my site?

Do you think I have any chance to be accepted by eBay Partner Network?

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
Best regards

I have been turned down twice by ebay, (thanks for this article by the way) and I was going to take your advice and tweak the website I was applying for, take off the adsense... But now I don't know if it is worth it.

If you went from 25% commission to 2.5% (theoretically)... My question is, Is there another auction type website with an affiliate program that we can use instead of ebay?

At this point Amazon is the only alternative for specific products that I know of... Any suggestions?

Thanks again,

You need to check the date of this post, it used to be really worth it $1500 months were normal... now $150 is a good month. EBay completely messed things up with their changes.

Is it really worth going through all this hassle when it's so much easier to get into some great affiliate programs elsewhere? I'd like to understand your reasons for thinking it's worth it - it doesn't make sense to me. It seems quite elitist to me that you basically have to have a "clean" site - no competition - don't they have enough business sense to go to your site and investigate its quality rather than pass judgement because it has monetization on it or not? They must realize that eventually every single person will maximize monetization in one way or another and ebay will only be a very small part of that. I have never, ever been rejected by any affiliate program - only eBay and the irony here is that I sell on eBay and have for quite some time!
