Over the past 10 days I have been reviewing all my old sites old tools and e-books i've bought. I try to do this once or twice a year and it always suprises me how valuable this excecise is. I'll freely admit I make the same mistake that many people make, I get a great idea for a site then go ahead and build it but before i've got it as profitable as possible I'll have another idea and move on to another project. Grab a Coffee a pen and some paper and write down what your Strategy is. Have you done that yet?? I'm serious...I am about to try to change your life so the least you can do is to humor me for a few minutes, Ok forget the coffee.. Just get the pen and paper. Recently I mentioned to members of the Income Academy membership site and Wordpress Goldmine customers about a very cheap and efficient way of getting content written. When I say cheap how does $1 or $2 an article or rewrite sound? Would it sound even better If I said that you didn't need to pay for this content until you were satisfied that it met the standards you set? I can't believe it's been almost a month since I last posted something. I'd like to come up with a good excuse but all I can say is that I'm sorry and it won't happen again..(probably). The reason I have neglected to post is that I have just been too busy, I started writing an e-book a month ago and thought it would take a couple of days. This time last year I sat down and put together a list of things I wanted to achieve this year. Looking back at it now I managed to achieve most of them , (The night with Nicole Kidman was probably never realistic!). Some I surpassed , some I didn't quite achieve and some I never really started. But none of that matter what matters is that I had a plan. I’ve been offline for almost a week due to the local telecom company forgetting how to maintain DSL lines! 12 -18 months ago that would have been a disaster for me. I wouldn’t have been able to create sites or update existing sites. This time without internet access it was great, I was able to get to the mountains and the beach secure in the knowledge that my sites were fine and that they would basically update and maintain themselves. When I was at school I was terrible at maths, I was fine with the basic stuff but when it came to quadratic functions, sine and cosines I was completely lost. Quite ironic when you think that I later went on to work in one of the worlds biggest banks.
