WordPress Goldmine has had some great additions in the past few weeks. First off several of the members are now providing writing services at a fixed rate of 1 cent per word, this has benefitted everyone. All the writers are hightly qualified and producing some truely excellent content quickly and on time.

We also have a member producing some of the best converting adsense themes you’ll find anywhere.In the few weeks since he launched them the thread has become one of the businest in the forum.

In additon one of the real sucess stories of the forum Chris has produced his first book Called the Crossroads Methodology it’s an excellent book and completely without hype or BS. I don’t recommend much but this is one book I think everyone should read. Chris only joined in July and in the few months since then has built a substantial business from what he’s learned. This isn’t your typical IM book Chris takes things you already know and turns them on their head.   His Confessions of a Newbie Internet marketer is also a much read thread in the forum and should be a must read for anyone who lacks motivation.

Recently we’ve also been looking at creating various tools and products for use of the members, 2 are still in the planning stage but one has made it to fruition and is being made freely available to the public.

Is My Site Indexed serves three purposes

1. It checkes if your site is indexed and shows you what google can see, which can be very useful for spotting errors

2. It gets new sites Indexed Quickly

3. It provides a number of anchor text back links to your Site.

It’s June 1st today so why not dedicate the next month to laying the foundation of a long term business.

I am not suggesting that at the end of the month that you’ll be able to retire but I am saying that you’ll have a usable system in place that you can build on. Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither is an Internet marketing career. I’ve been doing IM for over 4 years now it’s only in the past 9 months that I’ve finally got myself organised so that I can work a few hours a week if I wish and still maintain my income.

If you are willing to sacrifice 30 hours this month and $30 then you can succeed.

The first stop you should make is ezinearticles.com. Ezinearticles is a great place to research business models.  There are loads of categories here find one that appeals to you. Once you click on a sub-niche you’ll see a link to the top Authors in each niche. Follow this link and you’ll get a list of the Top Authors in that niche. Now all you need to do is to click on some of their articles and look at where their resource links go.

This way you’ll get to see the business model they are using, and believe me if they have bothered to write lots of articles it is working. Follow the process to the end and see all the tricks and tactics they use

It’s now down to you to replicate the business model.

Even creating your own product can cost less than $30.  The graphics on my Twitter Tips and Tricks Site cost me  $17, the domain cost me $9. I wrote the book in less than a day. It’s also no secret that one of the keys to my success over the past year is Micro Niche Finder. It has allowed me to target niches with very little competition and lots of searches. Adsense income alone from sites I’ve biult around niches and keywords I’ve found in the past 6 months was $500 last month and affiliate commission was similar.  Not bad for a $67 product.  However that price is about to change.

Version 4 of micro niche finder was released this week and it’s had major improvements. Gone are the wordtracker stats and they have been replaced with Stats from Google.  The immediate impact from this was that by rerunning some old searches double the number of results were returned .

Other changes Include the Strength of competition indicator being moved and replacing it on the main dashboard is a Commercial intent indicator, basically an indication of the likely hood of someone buying who uses that search phrase.

Within 2 minutes of the upgrade i had found a search term for a Nintendo Wii that had almost 1000 searches a month and only 47 competing pages with a comercial intent indicator of 89% not bad for a first attempt.

Unfortunatly with the improvements the price is due to go up so if you have been thinking of buying Micro Niche Finder now is the time to buy it. James Jones the creator has added more videos that show you just how powerful MNF can be.

These 2 to 3 weeks session where I review everything allows me to focus on the sites and get them profitable again. 2 sites I spent a day working on last week have already made me over $120 in the past 3 days .One of them was a domain I bought placed wordpress on and promptly forgot about it.

One week later it’s getting almost 40 visitors a day the sales alone would now make this site worth around $500 if I was to sell it. But whats even better is that I’ve built it in such a way that I can sell adverts in the form of review spots which rotate on the front page so as the traffic increases I can increase the charges for these. Without doing this review I would probably have left this site to expire.

What makes this whole process much easier is a free tool i’ve discovered called Bubbl.us this allows you to create a visual representation of your workload  . You can use it to plan sites or even use it to plan your work for the day.  I’ve been using it to plot the promotion I’ve been doing on each site. I was using whiteboards and spreadsheets for this but I usually forgot to put something on there.

I am pretty much letting my adsense sites die now and any that I do build are based on high quality unique content with adsense added as almost an afterthought. Adsense is far from dead but the time and effort you need to expend to make a site earn $5 a day is not really worthwhile any longer. Compare that to an affiliate site which might take the same amount of time and effort but by choosing the right product the rewards are much higher.

For example I know a product that pays $20 commission and converts at just over 3.5% For every 100 people that go to the site I earn just over $60. Take the same niche and an adsense site, for every 100 people that go there i may get 20 people click on an advert If I could earn $1 per click I would still only earn $20 And trust me when I say that $1 clicks are pretty rare in most niches.

If I wish to earn more money I can create an adwords campaign and drive traffic to the site immediatly. If you haven’t yet thought about creating an affiliate site you really should give it some serious thought. Also don’t let the thought of adwords or the horror stories of people losing thousands of dollars put you off trying an ad campaign. For the past 2 weeks I have been running 5 campaigns testing some theories and I’ve spent less than $20 so far. These campaigns are earning me $40 to $60 a day.

We thought it about time we did an update. At this point I’d better explain something. If you have subscribed recently you will probably receive this out of sequence with the other emails , this is because the first 7 are on an auto responder and set to go out in sequence as they are more general in nature where as I am now going to be sending out these emails in real time, so apologies If you are having to read a couple of messages today.

Sorry if I’ve been a bit quite recently I have a number of projects that I am working on that are taking up a large portion of my time and I feel lucky and privileged that a number of software developers have asked me to test their software. There are defiantly some interesting tools going to be coming onto the market in the next few months.

However there still seems to be a big imbalance in the market that really should be exploited. The majority tools that I get to test all seem to concentrate on generating sites very few actually address the problems of getting traffic and site promotion. There are many tools that will address part of the problem for example if I want to promote a new site. I can use a tool like article post robot to post to article directories, link directory submitter to post links to site directories, rss submit to submit the feeds to feed directories but nothing that will take the links/rss feeds and automatically submit them. If you want to make a lot of money, work on creating a combined site promotion solution.

I’ve been looking closely at CPA (cost per action)advertising since the publicity that surrounded “the Death of Adsense” well obviously Adsense is not dead or even close to it but the very fact that it promoted CPA is a good thing. For example it’s approaching Halloween so If you were switched on you would have created a few Halloween Adsense sites last month to grab the seasonal traffic. I looked at Halloween related CPA products and found that you could give away free packs of Halloween candy on your site and for everyone that signed up for the free candy you would have been paid $1.80. Now I don’t know about you but I am sure that giving away candy is something that most of us could do.

Christmas is just around the corner so why not look and some Christmas orientated CPA programs and add them to your sites, it really isn’t necessary to look at the programs that pay big money like Adsense some of the best money can be earned by aiming at the lower paying programs that most people will ignore.

Finally a bit of an update on what I’ve been doing to earn money over the past month or so.

I’ve been concentrating on 3 types of sites recently Viral Instigator 2 , VP-A sites (virtual property architect) and my own type of sites where I build a small article site with unique articles and then add a commonsense search site to the back of it which is linked to from the article site.

Along with my product sales and a bit of affiliate marketing I have also added a new type of income to my “portfolio” Autosurfing. If you know about Autosurfing you will probably think I am mad. If you don’t know well it’s probably better that way unless you like a gamble. Autosurfing is only to be done with money you have spare I had a spare $60 a few months ago that I was quite prepared to lose and with some careful program selection and some referrals I’ve managed to build that to over $1000 already my daily income from it should be around $100 a day by the end of the month.

As I said only ever autosurf with money you don’t mind losing and withdraw your initial amount asap and then just use profits to upgrade with.

You can actually build Viral Instigator 2 sites for free at the moment pete has set up a 50/50 deal where your adsense code will appear 50% of the time and his the other 50% this is ideal if you want to give it a go.

I also mentioned VP-A ( http://vp-architect.com/) This is a great system for building and promoting article sites from one interface. It’s excellent if you are experienced and you can identify niches that aren’t well targetted and have a good amount of articles already written for them. I’ve built some sites that are getting a 30% CTR and decent impressions but I have other sites that are doing nothing. I am convinced that the keywords are the key to sucess. I wouldn’t in all honesty reccoment this for someone who is new to the adsense and site building business but if you are experienced, can build templates with includes, then this could be well worth a try.

Finally autosurfing…. I really had a struggle about whether to mention it in my newsletter. Autosurfing Is high risk and you could lose your money but then because of the risk the rewards are high I personally know people who are earning $720 per day every day. I myself started at the end of july with $60 and I now am earning a considerable amount of money, I should be upto the $720 per day limit within 2 months. As I said this is high risk and you only should use money you can afford to lose. I am very wary about reccomending this to anyone but if you want more info I have an ebook you can have that explains it all.
