It is however not as difficult as you might think. You see people mistakenly think that being a full time internet marketer involves building sites everyday, and generating income from amazon, adsense or Clickbank. It’s not.

My wife is a full time internet marketer and she has never built a site in her life. She started writing content for me and now writes for a wide variety of companies and individuals, she even has her own office in a nearby town.

I have a friend and while he has some sites his main internet marketing income comes from working with bricks and mortar companies who he creates lead generation systems for online…sounds technical doesn’t it… It’s basically exactly what you and me do with our sites on a daily basis.

I know people who have built small email lists and generate enough income by guiding these people…(not selling) that they can afford to work full time at internet marketing

I really believe that probably half the people reading this post could be full time internet marketers within 90 days if they wanted to and believed that they could succeed.

Step 1

Ask yourself are you prepared to work hard to make it happen. I am serious here everyone I know who has succeeded has worked harder at internet marketing than at their “Real life” jobs once they made the leap. They took the long term view, they knew 2 or 3 years hard work would mean they could relax a few years down the line.

If the answer to that is no then don’t read on.

Step 2.

Know how much money you need each month. Do a budget and be honest, work out what you will need to spend each month then work out how much you need to earn, thats your target.

Divide the monthly target by 30 so you know your daily target.. $100 a day is a much easier target than $3000

Step 3

The easiest way to make money when you are starting is to provide a service to people, Can you write? Can you create backlinks ? can you do keyword research? Spend time each day doing the jobs other people like to outsource. This will free you up to work at your own projects each day without the fear of not being able to survive.

Your own projects and products are where you’ll make most money, and this is what I try to get across to people at the seminars I’ve done recently.

Las Vegas

If you would like to take the plunge and become a full time Internet Marketer there are a couple of tickets left for the Las Vegas seminar which is taking place in the first week in october. It’s restricted to only 25 people to ensure that it’s a pleasant learning environment that will also allow people to network and share ideas.

My aim is to have everyone who attends and isn’t already a full time internet marketer in that position within 3 months. So if you’s like to start the new year as a full time internet marketer this will change you life?

Over the two and a half days we’ll look at how to research create and market products. How to get anyone to JV with you (market your products) and how to build a small but effective list. Plus on the last day we are having a round table event where we all sit down together and brainstorm/discuss what we are doing. If necessary we’ll even do a workshop to give people the skills to succeed.

On top of that if you get one of these last tickets and want to be a full time marketers then I’ll sit down with you for an hour or two and help you formulate a step by step plan.

I stood on the stage, looked at all the people in the audience opened my mouth and my brain shut down…. I ran off the stage as quick as I could. The strange thing is.. I can still recite that damn monologue now from memory 40 years later!

Last Thursday at 9.45 am I stood up in front of 25 people in a Meeting room In Nottingham and presented my first ever seminar. The 2 day seminar covered Product Creation, List Building and Promoting your Products. I can’t remember ever enjoying “work” so much in my life.

Within about 5 minutes the fears and nervousness disapeared, the adrenaline kicked in and I was on a roll. Questions were asked and the answers just came without me even having to think about it, ideas that i’d never considered before sprung from the grey mush between my ears. I was having the time of my life… well apart from that night in the Ice bar in oslo….but thats another story.

I spent 2 very productive days with the nicest group of people you could ever meet, If I’d let my fear win I would never have had that experience. I learned a lot myself from the people who attended, never underestimate the power of sharing information with likeminded people

The really perverse thing about all this is that I arranged to present a 2nd seminar in Las Vegas before I knew if I could do it. Do you know what? I can’t wait, I wish it was next week.

What aspects of you IM life, or even life in general do you fear?

I’ve had people tell me they were afraid to ask for help in case they were thought of as stupid.

I’ve had people write great products and not release them because they were afraid people wouldn’t like them

I’ve known people who wouldn’t send an email asking about a JV because they were afraid of the other person saying no.

Like most fears these are all irrational so what if they say no if you don’t ask it’s the same as a no.

Forget those irrational fears get out there and do something that you are afraid of.

Do it today address one fear that’s holding you back you’ll more than likely be surprised at the outcome.
